Terms and Conditions

Ordering your cake: for Wedding cakes I require as much notice as possible or as soon as you have booked your wedding venue as dates can fill up quickly. I can sometimes accommodate short notice cakes depending on availability of your date.

For Celebration cakes I required at least 2/3 weeks notice but again on some occasions I can accommodate short notice cakes depending on the complexity of your requirements.

To secure a wedding day booking, a £50 non-refundable deposit is required with the remainder due 2 weeks before your wedding day.

To order a celebration cake, a deposit of £15 is required with the remainder due as cash on delivery or bank transfer before collection.

Delivery: Delivery of wedding cakes is included in the local area up to 25 miles and set up of your cake is £20. Outside of the Durham area mileage is charged at .43p per mile.

If you would prefer to collect your cake, we can supply boxes for transportation but cannot be responsible for any damage incurred after it has left our premises.

Cancellations: Any wedding cake or celebration cake/cupcakes which are paid in full and is cancelled within three months of the event, would result in full payment less the deposit (unless work has already started on the cake) If a wedding date is changed to to unforeseen circumstances your deposit could be transferred to another suitable date if available.

We cannot be responsible for any damage to completed cakes once they are delivered or collected. Whilst most of our handmade flowers, models and decorations are made of sugar paste, they may not be edible as some contain wires and other non-edible supports which are best removed prior to cutting your cake.
